All Applications: WB (1/500 - 1/1000), IF/ICC (1/50 - 1/100), IP (1/10 - 1/50)
Background: Because S100A10 induces the dimerization of ANXA2/p36, it may function as a regulator of protein phosphorylation in that the ANXA2 monomer is the preferred target (in vitro) of tyrosine-specific kinase.Does not appear to bind calcium. Contains 2 ancestral calcium site related to EF-hand domains that have lost their ability to bind calcium.
Purification and Purity: The antibody was purified by immunogen affinity chromatography.
Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: Recognizes endogenous levels of S100-A10 protein.
Bioworld Molecular Weight: ~ 13 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Extra Notes: Western blot analysis of S100-A10 expression in C6 (A), NIH3T3 (B), Hela (C) whole cell lysates., Immunofluorescent analysis of S100-A10 staining in HeLa cells. Formalin-fixed cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 5-10 minutes and blocked with 3% BSA-PBS for 30 minutes at room temperature. Cells were probed with the primary antibody in 3% BSA-PBS and incubated overnight at 4 °C in a hidified chamber. Cells were washed with PBST and incubated with a AF488-conjugated secondary antibody (green) in PBS at room temperature in the dark. DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclei (blue).
