Background: SF3B4 is part of the SF3b complex which associates with the U2 snRNP component of the spliceosome and is essential for spliceosome assembly. SF3B4 can associate with BMPR-1A to inhibit BMP-mediated cell differentiation. Haploinsufficiency of SF3B4 has been described in Nager syndrome, a disease of craniofacial malformation condition. Increased copy number of SF3B4 has been shown to play a role in hepatocellular carcinoma progression.
Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
