Background: The protein encoded by this gene is a gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) transporter that localizes to the plasma membrane. The encoded protein removes GABA from the synaptic cleft, restoring it to presynaptic terminals.

Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
