Background: During endoplasmic reticulum (ER stress or when cellular ceramide levels increase, may induce contacts between the ER and medial-Golgi complex to facilitate non-vesicular transport of ceramides from the ER to the Golgi complex where they are converted to complex sphingolipids, preventing toxic ceramide accumulation.
Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: Polyclonal Antibodies
Bioworld Molecular Weight: 130kDa
