Background: G protein-coupled receptors (GPRs), also known as seven transmembrane receptors, heptahelical receptors or 7TM receptors, comprise a superfamily of proteins that play a role in many different stimulus-response pathways. G protein coupled receptors translate extracellular signals into intracellular signals (G protein activation) and they respond to a variety of signaling molecules, such as hormones and neurotransmitters. GPR175 (G protein-coupled receptor 175), also known as TPRA40 or PP6566, is a 373 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein that is ubiquitously expressed and functions as a G-protein coupled receptor. The gene encoding GPR175 maps to human chromosome 3 and is expressed as multiple alternatively spliced isoforms.
Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: TPRA1 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of TPRA1 protein.
Bioworld Molecular Weight: ~ 41 kDa
