Description: Recombinant Human B7-1/CD80 Protein is produced by HEK293 expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Val35-Asn242) of human B7-1/CD80 (Accession #NP_005182.1) fused with a 6×His tag at the C-terminus.
Alternate Names: B7, B7-1, B7.1, BB1, CD28LG, CD28LG1, LAB7, CD80
SWISS: P33681
GeneID: 941
Species: Human
Purity: ≥ 90 % as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Storage: Store at -20 ℃. Store the lyophilized protein at -20℃ to -80 ℃ up to 1 year from the date of receipt. After reconstitution, the protein solution is stable at -20℃ for 3 months, at 2-8℃ for up to 1 week.
Background: The protein is a membrane receptor that is activated by the binding of CD28 or CTLA-4. The activated protein induces T-cell proliferation and cytokine production. This protein can act as a receptor for adenovirus subgroup B and may play a role in lupus neuropathy.
Bio-Activity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Recombinant human CD80 at 2 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Recombinant human CTLA-4 with a linear range of 10-50 ng/mL.
