Description: Recombinant HumanC1QC Protein is produced by HEK293 cells expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Asn29-Asp245) of human ENPP-1 (Accession #P02747) fused with 6×His and hFc tag at the N-terminus.
Alternate Names: C1QG; C1Q-C; C1QD3; Complement C1q subcomponent subunit C
SWISS: P02747
GeneID: 714
Species: Human
Purity: ≥ 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Storage: Store at -20℃. Store the lyophilized protein at -20℃ to -80 ℃ up to 1 year from the date of receipt. After reconstitution, the protein solution is stable at -20℃ for 3 months, at 2-8℃ for up to 1 week.
Background: C1q associates with the proenzymes C1r and C1s to yield C1, the first component of the serum complement system. The collagen-like regions of C1q interact with the Ca2+-dependent C1r2C1s2 proenzyme complex, and efficient activation of C1 takes place on interaction of the globular heads of C1q with the Fc regions of IgG or IgM antibody present in immune complexes.
