Description: Recombinant Human Galectin-9/LGALS9 Protein is produced by HEK293 cells expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Ala2-Thr323) of human Galectin-9/LGALS9 (Accession #NP_002299.2) fused with a 6×His tag at the N-terminus.

Bio-Activity: 1.Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Recombinant Human Galectin-9 at 2 μg/mL can bind Recombinant Human TIM-3 with a linear range of 5-15 μg/mL.|2.Measured by the ability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion of Jurkat human acute T cell leukemia cells. When 8×10^4 cells/well are added to LGALS9 coated plates (5 μg/mL and 100 μL/well) in the ppresence of 10μg/ml PHA, approximately 70-80% cells will adhere specifically after 60 minutes at 37℃.
