Description: Recombinant Human Gamma-glutamyl hydrolase/GGH Protein is produced by E. coli expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Arg25-Asp318) of Human Gamma-glutamyl hydrolase/GGH (Accession #NP_003869.1) fused with a His tag at the N-terminus.
Alternate Names: GGH, Gamma-glutamyl hydrolase, EC:3.4.19.9, Conjugase, GH, Gamma-Glu-X carboxypeptidase
SWISS: Q92820
GeneID: 8836
Species: Human
Purity: ≥ 95 % as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Storage: Store at -20 ℃. Store the lyophilized protein at -20℃ to -80 ℃ up to 1 year from the date of receipt. After reconstitution, the protein solution is stable at -20℃ for 3 months, at 2-8℃ for up to 1 week.
Background: Gamma-glutamyl hydrolase/GGH regulates intracellular folates and antifolates such as methotrexate (MTX) for proper nucleotide biosynthesis and antifolate-induced cytotoxicity, respectively. GGH is a ubiquitously-expressed enzyme that regulates intracellular folate metabolism for cell proliferation, DNA synthesis, and repair. cytoplasmic GGH might play a relevant role in the development and progression of invasive breast cancer.
