Description: Recombinant Human Glutathione S-transferase omega-1/GSTO-1/SPG-R Protein is produced by E. coli expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Ser2-Leu241) of human GSTO1 (Accession #NP_004823.1) fused with a 6×His tag at the C-terminus.
Alternate Names: GSTO 1-1, GSTTLp28, HEL-S-21, P28, SPG-R, GSTO1, GSTO 1-1, GSTO1-1, glutathione S-transferase omega-1, GSTTLp28, HEL-S-21, P28, SPG-R, GSTO1-1
SWISS: P78417
GeneID: 9446
Species: Human
Purity: ≥ 95 % as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Storage: Store at -70℃. This product is stable at ≤ -70℃ for up to 1 year from the date of receipt. For optimal storage, aliquot into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Background: Exhibits glutathione-dependent thiol transferase and dehydroascorbate reductase activities. Has S-(phenacyl)glutathione reductase activity. Has also glutathione S-transferase activity. Participates in the biotransformation of inorganic arsenic and reduces monomethylarsonic acid (MMA) and dimethylarsonic acid.
Bio-Activity: 1.Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human GSTO1 at 1 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind GSTO1 Rabbit mAb with a linear range of 0.5-4.33 ng/mL.|2.Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human Annexin A5 at 10 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Human GSTO1 with a linear range of 0.15-3.16 μg/mL.
