Description: Recombinant Mouse CXCL4/PF-4 Protein is produced by HEK293 cells expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Val30-Ser105) of Mouse CXCL4/PF-4 (Accession #NP_064316.1) fused with a hFc at the C-terminus.
Alternate Names: Pf4, Cxcl4, Scyb4, Platelet factor 4, PF-4, C-X-C motif chemokine 4
SWISS: Q9Z126
GeneID: 56744
Species: Mouse
Purity: ≥ 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE; ≥ 90% as determined by HPLC.
Storage: Store at -20 ℃. Store the lyophilized protein at -20℃ to -80 ℃ up to 1 year from the date of receipt. After reconstitution, the protein solution is stable at -20℃ for 3 months, at 2-8℃ for up to 1 week.
Background: Platelet factor-4 is a 70-amino acid protein that is released from the alpha-granules of activated platelets and binds with high affinity to heparin. Its major physiologic role appears to be neutralization of heparin-like molecules on the endothelial surface of blood vessels, thereby inhibiting local antithrombin III activity and promoting coagulation. As a strong chemoattractant for neutrophils and fibroblasts, PF4 probably has a role in inflammation and wound repair.
Bio-Activity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human CCL5 (Catalog: RP01750LQ) at 5 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Mouse CXCL4(Catalog: RP03170) with a linear range of 10-252.6 ng/mL.
