Background: This gene encodes a member of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter superfamily. ATP-binding casette proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intracellular membranes. Alterations in this gene may be involved in cancer progression. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Related pseudogenes have been identified on chromosomes 3 and 7.
Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: ABCF2 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of ABCF2 protein.
Bioworld Molecular Weight: ~ 71 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Extra Notes: Western blot analysis of extract of various cells, using ABCF2 antibody., Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded mouse lung using ABCF2 antibody at dilution of 1:100 (x40 lens)., Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded human stomach using ABCF2 antibody at dilution of 1:100 (x40 lens).
Alternative Name: ATP-binding cassette sub-family F member 2; Iron-inhibited ABC transporter 2; ABCF2; HUSSY-18
Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human ABCF2.
