Background: Monkeypox is a rare zoonosis caused by monkeypox virus, which has become the most serious orthpoxvirus and consists of complex double stranded DNA. The cases are mostly in central and western Africa. The pathogenesis of monkeypox is that the virus invades the body from respiratory mucosa , multiplies in lymphocytes, and incurs into blood producing transient venereal toxemia. after the virus multiplies in cells, the cells can invade the blood and propagate to the skin of the whole body, causing lesions.
Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from sheep antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: A35R Sheep polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of A35R protein.
Extra Notes: Immobilized A35R protein at 1 μg/mL.
Bioworld Molecular Weight: ~ 20 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
