V5-tag is a peptide composed of 14 amino acids (GKPIPNPLLGLDST) isolated from monkey parainfluenza virus V5, which usually does not interact with the target protein, and in most cases does not affect the function of the target protein, and can specifically bind to the V5-tag fusion protein, and can easily carry out experiments such as immunoprecipitation or purification of V5-tag fusion protein and its protein complex with the help of magnetic separation equipment such as magnetic racks.
