UNIProt ID: Q9Y5Y6
Research Areas: Signal Transduction; Cancer; Cell Biology
Target Species: Human
Expression Host: E.coli
Fusion Tag: N-His
Accession: Q9Y5Y6
Background: Degrades extracellular matrix. Proposed to play a role in breast cancer invasion and metastasis. Exhibits trypsin-like activity as defined by cleavage of synthetic substrates with Arg or Lys as the P1 site.Defects in ST14 are a cause of ichthyosis autosomal recessive with hypotrichosis (ARIH). ARIH is a skin disorder characterized by congenital ichthyosis associated with the presence of less than the normal amount of hair.
Sequence: Thr 571-Val 855
Purity: > 95 % as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4.
Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Please refer to the specific buffer information in the printed manual.
Reconstitution: Please refer to the printed manual for detailed information.
Endotoxin: Please contact us for more information.
Calculated MW: 31.24 kDa
Observed MW: 35 kDa
Storage: Generally, lyophilized proteins are stable for up to 12 months when stored at -20 to -80℃. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-8℃ for 2-7 days. Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20℃ for 3 months.
Shipping: This product is provided as lyophilized powder which is shipped with ice packs.
