Background: This gene encodes a protein localized in mitochondria and closely related to paraplegin. The paraplegin gene is responsible for an autosomal recessive form of hereditary spastic paraplegia. This gene is a candidate gene for other hereditary spastic paraplegias or neurodegenerative disorders.
Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: Polyclonal Antibodies
Bioworld Molecular Weight: 80-90KDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Extra Notes: Western blot analysis of various lysates, using AFG3L2 antibody at 1:500 dilution.
Secondary antibody: HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG at 1:10000 dilution.
Lysates/proteins: 25ug per Lane.
Blocking buffer: 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST.
Detection: ECL Basic Kit.
Exposure time: 30s., Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded human colon carcinoma using AFG3L2 Rabbit pAb at dilution of 1:50. Perform high pressure antigen retrieval with 10 mM citrate buffer pH 6.0 before commencing with IHC staining protocol., Immunoprecipitation analysis of 300ug extracts of HeLa cells using 3ug AFG3L2 antibody.
