Background: ZNF169 (Zinc finger protein 169) is a 603 amino acid nuclear protein that contains one KRAB domain and thirteen C2H2-type zinc fingers. ZNF169 is highly expressed in kidney and weakly expressed in spleen, liver, small intestine and heart, where it functions as a transcription regulator. The gene encoding ZNF169 maps to a region of human chromosome 9q22, which has been associated with many human diseases such as colon cancer, migraine auras, basal cell carcinoma, Gorlin syndrome and Extraskeletal myxoid chondrosarcoma.
Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: ZNF169 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of ZNF169 protein.
