Background: YES proto-oncogene 1, Src family tyrosine kinase (YES1) Homo sapiens This gene is the cellular homolog of the Yamaguchi sarcoma virus oncogene. The encoded protein has tyrosine kinase activity and belongs to the src family of proteins.
